Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information AeroAdvocacy LLC ("we") collects when you use this website or submit a claim, why we collect it, and your rights.

What we collect

  • Contact details: name, email, phone number, postal address.
  • Identity details for your Power of Attorney: date of birth and passport details (issuing country, number and expiry date), which airlines may require to verify that we act for you. We share them only with the airline or body handling your claim.
  • Trip details: booking reference, flight numbers, dates, airports, and what happened.
  • Documents you upload: booking confirmations, boarding passes, receipts, baggage reports, photos.
  • Messages you send us and our notes on your claim.
  • Basic technical data needed to run the site securely (for example, IP address in server logs).

Why we use it

  • To assess and pursue your claim with the airline and, where needed, regulators, dispute bodies, or legal partners.
  • To contact you about your claim and send you any money recovered.
  • To meet legal, accounting, and record-keeping obligations.

If you start a claim but don't finish it, we keep the details you entered, together with technical information about your visit (IP address, approximate location based on it, device and browser, and the page that referred you), so we can contact you, help you complete it and protect against misuse. You can ask us to delete them at any time by emailing claims@aeroadvocacy.com.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the parties needed to resolve your claim (the airline and any body we escalate to) and service providers that help us run the service — for example our database and file storage provider and our email provider — under agreements that require them to protect it.

How long we keep it

For as long as your claim is open, and afterwards only as long as required for legal and accounting purposes. Then we delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your data, or object to how we use it. Email claims@aeroadvocacy.com and we'll respond within the time the law requires. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

This site uses only the cookies needed to make it work (for example, keeping staff signed in). We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
